Anatomy of a Hit and Run Accident
Due to the significant snow accumulation (6-8") and extremely icy road conditions, my USPS Vehicle fell victim to a hit-and-run driving accident.
I was not in the vehicle at the time of the accident, as I was carrying mail by foot some two blocks away.

Minor damage resulted, and since the vehicle had been properly parked and braked, I was determined to be not-at-fault in the accident assessment.
