Meiers on Canada, Western USA Vacation

The Meiers are on a three week vacation to Canada and the Western USA.

We started out on July 9 with a ten hour drive to the Twin Cities in St. Paul/Minneapolis, where we visited Cheryl's sister and her husband and family. We spent a day at the Mall of America and the Amusement Park there.

We travelled from Minnesota to Luseland, Saskatchewan, where we visited the Meier Farm for a couple days, lodged with Grandma (Martha) Meier in Luseland, and visited with Grandma Poggemiller.

On Tuesday morning, we travelled to Calgary to take Melody Mayner to the Calgary Intl Airport for her flight to Lynnwood, WA. We then travelled north to Airdrie to visit with Mike and Sharon MacDonold and Ceilidh and Ciaran, and spent the night at their house.

On Wednesday, July 18, we travelled to downtown Calgary to see the Calgary Tower and the Pengrowth Saddledome, before going west to tour Banff and Lake Louise and Morraine Lake. Then it was on to Golden, British Columbia for the night.

Future plans include visiting Grandma Den Adel in Lynnwood, WA. A tour of Seattle, the Puget Sound, and Victoria, BC. Then South to a drive down Highway 101 in Oregon and California, as far south as Hollywood. Then we will travel back to the East to Wichita by July 29

We will post pictures shortly...
